1.4845 Stainless Steel Plate
Stainless steel 310S (UNS S31008) is the version of the alloy with a low carbon content. It is used because it is easy to manufacture. stainless steel 310H (UNS S31009) is a carbon-rich modification that has been developed to achieve better creep resistance. In most cases, the grain size and carbon content of the material are in line with both the stainless steel 310S and 310H requirements.

Opis
The heavier carbonisation atmospheres of thermal processing equipment usually require nickel alloys such as 330 (UNS N08330). Alloy 310 can be used for applications that involve light oxidation, nitration, cementation and thermal cycling. Alloy 310 is also used in cryogenic applications with a low magnetic permeability and toughness of up -450oF (-268 degree C). When heated to between 1202 - 1742oF (650 - 950oC), this alloy is subject to sigma-phase precipitation. Annealing with a solution at 2012 - 2102oF (1100 - 1150oC) will restore a certain measure of toughness.
