1.4301 stainless steel processing and heat treatment
Hot processing: Heating temperature: 1100–1150 degree , avoid staying in the range of 400–850 degree for a long time (to prevent carbide precipitation).
Welding: Good weldability, 308L welding rod or wire is recommended, no heat treatment is required after welding (unless the thickness is greater than 3mm, solution treatment is required to eliminate stress).
Solution treatment: 1040–1100 degree insulation and water cooling to optimize corrosion resistance and toughness.
Stress relief annealing: 250–400 degree , eliminate processing/welding stress and prevent stress corrosion cracking.
